Our team captured these rare moments during the spring transit season — superyachts at anchor, convoy formations, and the quiet majesty of the Egyptian coastline at dawn.
The Red Sea is one of the most photographed stretches of water in the world, yet it never loses its power to surprise. These images were taken by Felix Maritime's port team during the spring 2026 transit season — unplanned, unfiltered, and entirely real.
Each southbound convoy departs at first light. The sight of eight vessels, from 30-metre sailing yachts to 80-metre motor superyachts, moving in formation through the Great Bitter Lake is genuinely spectacular — and entirely routine for our team.
We've published a selection of the best images from the season in this gallery. All photography was taken from Felix Maritime's patrol launches during routine operations.
